The concert going year has started positively with a solid Alejandro Escovedo show and a sublime Rural Alberta Advantage gig. I've already got tickets lined up for Jemina Pearl and Daedalus, which will put me at 40% of last year's show attendance. Things are looking up.

So on Saturday, October 11, the Black Keys are playing at EJ Thomas Hall in their hometown of Akron, OH. Originally, xhollydayx and I were going to go with our friend PK and one of his friends. However, PK now cannot attend, so he has two tickets that he has asked me to unload.
